We understand the decision to place your baby for adoption is probably the most important decision you have ever made. We know that you want to make the best decision for your baby and yourself. You may be feeling confused and unsure of what to do. You may be hearing different advice and information. It is important that you feel comfortable considering all your options and make the most informed decision you can.
If you decide to place your baby for adoption, you will have the choice of adopting parents for your baby. All the families have had, or will have, an approved home study. You will be able to talk with or meet the adopting parents so that you are sure you are choosing the right family for your baby.
What if I need some financial help?
Every state has different laws regarding expenses. In California, where we are located, a birth mother is able to request assistance for her reasonable birth-related living expenses. These expenses can include such living expenses as rent, food and utilities. We would discuss your situation with you as every situation is different.
